This role is primarily focused on the Infoblox platform and will drive strategic initiatives involving platform modernization, cloud integration, automation, high-availability architecture, and continuous service improvement. The engineer will also provide operational support and technical leadership for the enterprise Infoblox environment. Experience with Microsoft DNS is required to support integration, coexistence, and migration initiatives.Job Description\nThis role is a hybrid workstyle: with the associate expected to work from a Raymond James office location at least three days per week, including either Monday or Friday.\nPlease note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.\nKey Responsibilites:\nDesign, implement, and support enterprise DDI services primarily leveraging Infoblox, while supporting Microsoft DNS integration and migration initiatives.\nLead Infoblox Grid modernization, NIOS upgrades, appliance refreshes, and lifecycle management.\nLead migration of legacy Microsoft DNS environments to Infoblox and develop future-state DNS architecture standards.\nDesign highly available DNS architectures, including DNS caching, primary DNS, and disaster recovery solutions.\nIntegrate DDI services with Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.\nImplement DNS security best practices, including DNSSEC, RPZ, and secure DNS architectures.\nDevelop automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and infrastructure automation tools.\nBuild monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and reporting solutions for DNS/DDI services.\nCollaborate with Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams on enterprise initiatives.\nSupport day-to-day operational activities for the Infoblox platform, including incident and request fulfillment, maintenance, capacity planning, performance tuning, operational escalations, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.\nRequired Skillsets:\nStrong understanding of enterprise DNS architecture, TCP/IP networking, DNS forwarding, DNS delegation, and high-availability design principles.\n7+ years of hands-on Infoblox engineering and architecture experience in large enterprise environments.\nExperience planning and implementing Infoblox NIOS upgrades, Grid modernization, appliance refreshes, and platform lifecycle initiatives.\nExperience designing and deploying highly available DNS architectures.\nExperience implementing DDI services within hybrid cloud environments.\nExperience integrating Infoblox with enterprise monitoring and operational platforms, such as Splunk, Datadog, SolarWinds, or similar.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft DNS and Active Directory-integrated DNS, including migration and coexistence with Infoblox-managed DNS services.\n Education\nBachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertifications\nTravel\n Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
