Conducts quality analyses through audits, process walks, and surveillance for process compliance to Business Quality System (BQS/QMS). Assist with managing process corrective actions and analyzing effectiveness of corrective actions and suspect product containment. Perform other Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) functions as needed. The MRO Technician is responsible for enforcement of quality policies and procedures used by the repair station to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.\nThis is an onsite position located in Burnsville, MN.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerforms and documents Floor Sweep Process walks / Surveillance / Certification reviews.\n\nParticipates and provides quality support in daily tier meetings.\n\nUpdates the Approved Signatory List (ASL) Employee Rosters.\n\nUpdates repair station personnel employment summaries ensuring they are up-to-date and on file in the Quality Department for each employee required.\n\nPerforms annual ASL stamp audits.\n\nPerforms repair station periodic proficiency internal audits.\n\nProvides quality data to Chief Inspector and Quality Manager regarding quality issues/concerns.\n\nResponsible for the accuracy of the repair station Stamp Control/ASL process.\n\nConducts and documents product investigations assisting engineering ensuring Containment / RCCA and Process Improvement strategies are implemented with heavy emphasis on human factors and just culture principles supporting the Safety Management System.\n\nSupport repair station training needs\n\nProvides repair station Audit Support (Internal/External).\n\nProvides repair station product technical support.\n\nProvides direct quality support to repair station operations, engineering, customer service, materials, and inspection teams.\n\nUpdates SAP regarding return to service capability.\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.\n\nExperience interpreting and working from blueprints, customer specification, purchase orders, written and verbal instructions is required.\n\nRequires experience in the aerospace industry.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite required.\n\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience in aerospace Quality conducting inspections.\n\nPossess a Quality related AA/BA/BS Degree or working towards a degree in quality.\n\nPrefer certificated in FAR Part 65 (Airframe & PowerPlant or FAA Repairman).\n\nDemonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\n\nExperience with SAP ERP, TeamCenter PLM System, and other project and engineering related software systems.\n\nRole Type\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
