Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nAs an Algorithms Software Engineer II, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities - from implementing system-level architecture updates to optimizing low-level code to maximize performance efficiency. This position is for a Software Engineer who has professional experience in the development and implementation of algorithm software for both large-scale HPC environments and highly optimized and performant real-time applications.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork alongside scientists (physicists, mathematicians, signal processing experts, and more) to understand algorithm goals and limitations.\n\nOptimize software for performance, including parallel processing and leveraging GPUs and other processing accelerators.\n\nEvolve algorithms originating in Python and MATLAB into optimized C, C++, and CUDA code.\n\nModel and test new algorithms in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.\n\nArchitect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated real-time software.\n\nWork within a cross-discipline team.\n\nContribute to proposals as well as preliminary and critical design reviews.\n\nHave opportunity (optional) to travel for customer collaboration and community interaction.\n\nAbility to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and meanwhile with a Secret clearance you will support meaningful unclassified and collateral tasks.\n\nThis job is onsite in Plano, TX; applicants must be in the area or willing to relocate to it.\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.\n\nExperience in developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications written in C, C++ or closely related software languages.\n\nDevelopment experience on Linux-based systems.\n\nActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start.
