This position covers the Japan Region and reports to the Sr. SQA Manager of the Asia Region. This person will travel to supplier sites as needed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupplier on-site quality support.\nFirst Article Inspection approval.\nManage Supplier Authorized to release program \nSupplier surveillance audits.\nSupport PW initiatives throughout the supply base.\nSupport quality initiatives at the supply base as required.\nSupport escape/non-conformance/RCCAinvestigation\nBasic Qualifications:\nEngineering Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10-15 years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Inspections and/or Quality Auditing experience.\nJapan citizenship is required\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of AS9100 and PW specificationspreferred.\nExperience with First Article Inspection.\nExperience with RCCA.\nInspection Knowledge is a must\nAS9100 Internal/ Lead Auditor is plus \nFamiliarity with shop operations, work instructions, and quality documentation.\nFamiliarity with various inspection tools and techniques including layout inspection is preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications and procedures.\nCastings/forgings experience a plus.\nPPAP experience a plus.\nAbility to interact with all levels of management.\nAbility to effectively manage time and work with minimal supervision.\nExperience with tools such as MS Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
