You're comfortable with ambiguity and eager to grow your skills while making an immediate impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct & Feature Development\nDesign, develop, and implement new and next-generation frontend features for our research collaboration platform\nBuild and maintain user interfaces for web-based SaaS applications, including onboarding flows, core features, settings, and admin interfaces\nImplement responsive, accessible UI from designs and prototypes, solving complex problems with simple, maintainable solutions\nContribute to and maintain shared component libraries and design-system implementations that ensure consistency across the product\nDevelop data-driven interfaces including dashboards, tables, filters, and visualizations\nAI-First Experience Engineering\nImplement user experiences for AI-powered features, making sophisticated capabilities feel natural and accessible\nBuild intuitive interfaces for AI interactions, automated workflows, and intelligent recommendations\nBalance automation with user control, ensuring transparency and clear feedback in AI-driven flows\nCollaboration & Growth\nPartner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define features and align on technical approach\nParticipate in code reviews, design critiques, and sprint planning within an Agile process\nWrite clean, tested code and help improve frontend quality, performance, and developer experience\nStay current with frontend best practices, SaaS UI patterns, and AI interface trends\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n2+ years of demonstrated frontend engineering experience for web applications\nStrong portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating your engineering process and problem-solving approach\nExperience with consumer or SaaS products\nSkills\nProficient understanding of HTML/CSS and ES6+\nProficient with responsive design and browser compatibility practices\nProficient understanding of ReactJS and its fundamentals (JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.)\nExperience with a JavaScript state management library (e.g. Redux or similar)\nGood understanding of asynchronous request handling and RESTful services/APIs consumption\nFamiliarity with a JavaScript testing framework\nExperience with web performance optimization\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git\nUnderstanding and experience with the Agile process\nExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical decisions\nSelf-directed and comfortable managing multiple projects\nMindset\nEager to learn and grow in SaaS and AI-first product development\nUser-centered approach balanced with business pragmatism\nCollaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments\nComfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced startup environments\nNice to Have\nExperience building AI/ML-powered product features\nFamiliarity with SaaS or enterprise applications, especially research or healthcare-adjacent domains\nUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive UI implementation\nExperience with TypeScript\nExperience with design
