Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.\nJob Responsibilities :\nEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) and related software\nMonitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operations\nDevelop and implement database backup and recovery plans, as well as disaster recovery plans\nManage and monitor database security, ensuring that all sensitive data is protected\nTroubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance, connectivity, and data integrity issues\nDevelop and maintain database documentation, including data models, database schemas, and system architecture diagrams\nEnsure that databases are in compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy policies\nParticipate in the design and development of database systems, working closely with software developers and other IT staff\nPerform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance\nDevelop and implement database maintenance procedures, such as database defragmentation and data purging\nManage and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plans\nPlan and implement database upgrades and migrations\n• Other duties as assigned.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDesign, install, configure, and maintainenterprise-grade database platforms and supporting technologies.\n\nMonitor and optimize database performance to ensure maximum availability, scalability, and reliability.\n\nImplement and maintain robustdatabase security andaccess control standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolvedatabase, performance, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.\n\nDevelop and maintain comprehensivedatabase documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\n\nEnsure compliance withregulatory requirements, security standards, and data privacy policies.\n\nPartner closely withsoftware developers and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable database solutions.\n\nPerformdatabase tuning and optimization to support growing business demands.\n\nPlan, execute, and supportdatabase upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.\n\nContribute todisaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.\n\nTake ownership of other database-related initiatives and projects as required.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum5 years of hands-on experience in Database Administration or Database Engineering.\n\nStrong expertise in one or more database technologies, including:MariaDB, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, Cassandra, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Timestream, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop/HBase.\n\nStrong understanding ofdatabase architecture, administration, and operational best practices.\n\nProven experience indatabase performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.\n\nExperience implementingdatabase security controls, user management, and access governance.\n\nSolid knowledge of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.\n\nExperience with database monitoring and observability tools such asNew Relic, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.\n\nStrongtroubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\n\nPre-Requisites :\nRazer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
