The incumbent will work closely with the finance team and many other departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient management of the accounts payable function, accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and implementation of best practices and controls\nKey Responsibilities:\n Invoice Processing & Vendor Management\nReview, code, and enter vendor invoices, purchase orders (POs), and contracts into the accounting/ERP software \nPerform 3-way matching (Invoice vs. Purchase Order vs. SOD) to ensure payment accuracy\nHandle vendor onboarding, verify bank details, and maintain active, compliant vendor master records\nAddress vendor payment inquiries and resolve billing/discrepancy issues in a timely, professional manner\n Statutory Compliance & Tax Deductions (India)\nEnsure accurate deduction and filing support for TDS (Tax Deductions at Source) on qualifying vendor payments under relevant Sections (e.g., 194C, 194J, 194Q).\nVerify GST details on incoming invoices to ensure valid Input Tax Credit (ITC) claimability (matching with GSTR-2B data).\nPayment Processing & Reconciliations\nAssist in preparing batch electronic payouts via Corporate Net Banking, ACH, NEFT, RTGS, and FinTech payment payout rails/APIs.\nReconcile vendor ledgers, monthly supplier statements, and petty cash logs. \nAssist in month-end AP closing routines, aging analysis, and expense accrual computations. \nEmployee Expenses & Audit Support\nProcess employee expense reports and reimbursements via corporate tools in line with company travel and expense policy.\nMaintain digital repository for all receipts, tax invoices, contracts, and payment vouchers for easy retrieval.\nSupport internal, statutory, and tax audit processes by pulling required document samples and schedules.\nQualifications & Skills:\nAccounts Payable professional with 1-2 years work experience \nIn-depth knowledge of accounting principles, TDS, GST\nStrong Excel skills;
