Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers, as well as managing existing accounts.\nKey responsibilities\nSelling various multi-channel solutions, sourcing, maintaining existing accounts and growing sales, maintaining the territory playbook, understanding customer needs - “it’s all about the customer”, and negotiating and closing deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.\nProspecting & developing business, planning, pipeline management within the assigned territory.\nSource and grow sales with new business and support existing business through personal and professional relationships with customers. \nDevelop assigned territory by building and maintaining the Playbook and utilising the CRM (Salesforce) tool on a frequent basis.\nUnderstand specific needs of customers and deliver value by providing customised solutions via presentations.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals.\nAttend 4 to 6 auction sales, 1 to 2 days each within the region, where you'll meet with your customers and colleagues.\nTravel overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month to cover the territory and 1 to 2 days prior to each auction sale.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat we are looking for\n2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, and a consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotas.\nYou’ll have to have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record.\nEquipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is highly desirable,\nExperience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge desirable).\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nAble to build and maintain authentic customer relationships.\nCompetitive without sacrificing integrity.\nWork primarily from a home office and on the road.\nLocated near Bristol, Chepstow, Cardiff or Bath.\nWe offer ample opportunities for career advancement, training/professional development including tuition reimbursement programs, supported by an uncapped compensation earning potential including a base salary, and additional perks like a company vehicle, laptop, smartphone, and expense account.\nIn addition to our compensation packages and perks, we offer medical and dental benefits, retirement plans with company match, paid holidays, and a generous PTO package.\nTo get an idea of what our auctions are like, you can check out some auction videos on YouTube right here: https://www.youtube.com/ritchiebros.
