He/she provides technical support to resolve or assist in resolution of issues relating to ERP systems, reports, integration, and other software applications. The position is responsible for interacting with end users, opening support tickets with software vendors, and identifying and implementing solutions for software application issues. He/she also provides input for the improvement of processes and procedures. This position may involve some database maintenance work, such as writing and executing complex procedures and programs to extract data for business purposes or audits.\nKey Responsibilities: \nProvides training, troubleshooting, and support to software application users\nCoordinate the processing of incoming requests to IT Service via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timeliness, and effective resolution of end user software application issues\nLiaise with third parties and IT partners to resolve issues in a timely manner\nDesign and implement changes to the ERP system\nTrack and manage changes to the application software per defined Change Management process\nRecord, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution\nDetermine severity of incidents and efficiently escalate them using the incident management process\nKeep requester informed of progress\nEnsure resolution meets user requirements while meeting Service Level requirements\nSupport a 24 x 7 manufacturing environment.\nSupport various software and applications, including enterprise solutions (ERP)\nAbility to write complex SQL queries\nMicrosoft Access/Excel/Word/PowerPoint expertise is required\nProvide outstanding customer service; requires excellent verbal and written communications skills.\nPrioritize workload and complete necessary documentation using IT ticketing system\nAbility to work independently under general supervision within a demanding client centric environment.\nHigh School Diploma, bachelor’s degree in an IT related field is preferred\n7+ years of experience of relevant work experience; 5+ years with bachelors \nGeneral knowledge of Windows Server (2019 and newer) operating system\nGeneral knowledge of the IBM operating system for iSeries\nHigh level of experience with desktop operating systems\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nExcellent research skills\nTechnical documentation skills\nStrong written and oral communication skills, possess the ability to interact with senior management and technical staff in a professional manner\nPreferred Experience:\nVisual Studio (VB.net / C#), PHP, VBA (Office Programming, MS Access), GitHub\nOracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (T/SQL), and DB2 query writing and troubleshooting\nCOBOL programming\nExperience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS\nAbility, initiative and accountability to execute broad assignments requiring minimal direction\nModerate understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies and general networking. \nEducation & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree and 2+ years of work experience in an IT related field is preferred.\nHigh School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant work experience; 3+ years with Associates\nGeneral knowledge of Windows Server (2019 and newer) operating system \nKnowledge of various Database Management Systems (DBMS)\nExperience with troubleshooting desktop operating systems\nProgramming and debugging skills\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nExcellent research skills\nTechnical documentation skills\nStrong written and oral communication skills, possess the ability to interact with senior management and technical staff in a professional manner \n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nRBC offers competitive pay and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, and paid time off\nWage Range: $64,900 - $129,800\nThe salary range information is only applicable to Connecticut.
