We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated maintenance technician able to adapt to a fast-changing, ever challenging manufacturing environment. If you have 2 to 4 years’ Maintenance experience or an associate degree in Mechatronics, excellent verbal and written communication, CNC maintenance experience, good people skills, and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills…We want you on our team!\nWe have a 3rd shift position available (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) Sunday through Thursday, making between $30.66 to $37.55 per hour after 1 year of satisfactory performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPromote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.\nPerform simple and complex preventative maintenance on CNC, production and building equipment.\nPerform breakdown maintenance on all CNC equipment including diagnosing and repair/replacement of defective parts.\nInterpret hydraulic and electrical drawings for breakdown diagnostics using various tools.\nTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools including hydraulics, pneumatics, ac and dc servo motor controls, relay logic, and troubleshooting relay controls.\nMaintain a positive working relationship across all the Greenville facility with the Operations and Maintenance teams.\nSupport a disciplined approach to spare parts storage and organization.\nCoordinate and prioritize work efficiently to meet production schedules.\nSupport and execute rebuild, reconditioning CNC machine projects and moves.\nDaily prioritize and confirm work orders using SAP computerized maintenance management system.\nOperational knowledge of CNC and robots to perform maintenance activities.\nTake initiative to document, communicate and correct maintenance issues identified during breakdowns and PM activities.\nOperate equipment including forklift, man boom lift, and scissor platform lift.\nWork and interact effectively in a team environment in alignment with our code of conduct.\nRequired Qualifications:\n2 to 4 years’ Maintenance experience or an associate degree in Mechatronics.\nMinimum of one year of CNC maintenance experience.\nAble to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.\nStrong organizational and multi-tasking skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent mechanical and math skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System and/or SAP.\nAbility to understand the OEM machine manuals / drawings with mechanical aptitude and analytical trouble shooting ability.\nExperience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to lift up to 35 pounds frequently.\nAble to work 3rd shift with 5% a shift differential.\nOperate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists.\nWork at multiple heights.\nClimb on equipment, machines, ladders, man lifts and various step stools.\nStand for a minimum of 8 hour shifts with minimal breaks.\nWork various shifts and workday schedules including nights and weekends.\nExposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.\nKneel, squat, and crawl on knees.\nWork in awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting and forward head and rotation of neck.\nWork in tight spaces.\nRepetitive grasping, pushing, pulling rotating.\nUse of fine motor skills.\nUse of maintenance hand tools.\nRequired Personal Protective Equipment: hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toed/metatarsal foot gear, and ARC Flash provided protective clothing and equipment including shock resistant gloves, fall restraint harnesses, jackets, chaps, helmet, grinding shield, etc.\nNote - all repair tooling, hand tools, and storage will be provided.\nWhy Join Us?\nWork for a collaborative, experienced leadership team.\nBe part of an industry leader with a strong brand reputation and an innovation-driven culture.\nRBC Bearings is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
