In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, end users, vendors, and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions that keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently around the clock.\nThis is an opportunity to make a direct impact on business performance, lead system improvements, and help shape the future of our application environment while working with a diverse set of technologies across development, database management, reporting, and enterprise systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Senior Applications Developer, you will serve as a key technical resource responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise applications that support our business operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and training to business users across multiple software platforms and ERP applications.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve application issues while ensuring a positive user experience.\nDesign, develop, test, and implement enhancements and modifications to ERP systems and related applications.\nManage and coordinate support requests through our IT service management processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.\nCollaborate with software vendors, third-party partners, and cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.\nMonitor, document, and manage application changes in accordance with established Change Management procedures.\nInvestigate incidents, determine business impact, and escalate issues appropriately to drive rapid resolution.\nDevelop and execute SQL queries, reports, stored procedures, and data extracts to support business operations, audits, and decision-making.\nMaintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and system changes.\nRecommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.\nSupport a 24/7 manufacturing environment by helping ensure the stability and availability of critical business systems.\nManage priorities effectively while maintaining compliance with service level expectations.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of hands-on iSeries/AS400 development experience.\nStrong proficiency with RPGLE and CLLE development.\nAdvanced experience with database management systems and data analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.\nStrong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working with Windows Server environments (2012 and newer).\nAdvanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and enterprise application support.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business leadership.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with COBOL, AS400 printing solutions, and Profound UI.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.\nDevelopment experience using Visual Studio, VB.NET, C#, PHP, VBA, and Microsoft Access programming.\nWorking knowledge of Team Foundation Server and source control practices.\nExperience with Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (T-SQL), and DB2 development and troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of enterprise infrastructure, data center technologies, and networking concepts.\nProven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nRBC offers competitive pay and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, and paid time off.\n Wage Range: $84,000.00 - $129,800.00 \nThe salary range information is only applicable to Connecticut.
