The role will focus on developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and dbt, ensuring reliable and efficient data integration across multiple enterprise systems. The Data Engineer works with department and lines of business subject matter expert (SMEs) across the enterprise to meet departmental and organizational objectives. The engineer will follow end-to-end process standards and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient build out of data pipeline architecture within project timeframes.\nWhat will you do?\nDesign and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines.\n\nDevelop ETL workflows using Informatica IICS.\n\nBuild transformation models and data pipelines using dbt.\n\nDevelop optimized SQL transformations for large datasets.\n\nImplement data quality checks and validation logic within ETL pipelines.\n\nMonitor data pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.\n\nCollaborate with data analysts and architects to design scalable data models.\n\nDocument data lineage, transformations, and technical architecture.\n\nParticipate in Agile development processes and code reviews.\n\nWhat do you need to succeed?\nMust have:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent experience.\n\n3-6 years’ experience in data engineering or ETL development.\n\nHands-on experience with Informatica ETL tools.\n\nExperience with dbt and ELT-based transformation frameworks.\n\nStrong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling concepts.\n\nExperience working with enterprise data warehouses or cloud platforms.\n\nExperience with source control (Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience working in Agile engineering environments.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud data platforms.\n\nExperience with Python.\n\nFamiliarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M).\n\nExperience in banking or financial services data environments.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
