You will be responsible for planning and executing projects using a standardized program and project management process aligned to the enterprise project delivery lifecycle framework, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of high-impact strategic priorities across the Bank. This role requires a dynamic individual with a high degree of project management expertise who can manage cross-functional workflows, support strategic objectives and ensure projects are delivered within the approved scope, schedule and budget while minimizing disruption to business partners and mitigating risks. The right person for this role will be highly collaborative, with experience navigating complex stakeholder relations.\nAs part of the Process Risk Centre of Excellence and Strategic Execution group under the RBC Chief Controls office, the Strategic Execution team has a mandate to develop and implement a proactive, standardized, scalable program and project management discipline that drives consistency in delivery of strategic objectives, while ensuring execution of RBC enterprise (Board, CoE and Group Executive) and cross-functional business programs and projects. Working within a high-performance area of the Bank, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to work on the Bank’s most ambitious initiatives.\nWhat will you do?\nPlan and execute projects with high level of complexity and uncertainty. Oversee project operating procedures, monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.\n\nManage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on timelines, budget and resourcing.\n\nDevelop, manage and ensure adherence to project schedules and completion of project goals.\n\nRaise and track risks, issues and conflicts, remove barriers. Resolve minor project risks, issues and escalate them where appropriate.\n\nManage project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business partners, vendors and project team. Including the effective management of project management repositories.\n\nFacilitate Project Sponsor awareness of changes being introduced into the organization by the project and appropriately manage organizational change management.\n\nEstablish strong working relationships across platform teams to build influence and impact with key business partners.\n\nSet up appropriate governance and oversight of all projects, ensuring project follow established Project Management standards.\n\nWhat you need to succeed?\nMust-have:\n5+ years’ progressive business project-related experience\n\nAdvanced project management knowledge including project plan development; scheduling capabilities; project metrics gathering, analyzing, and reporting; risk and issue management; cost/benefit analysis.
