Training will take place at the RBFCU Administrative Service Center: 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, Texas 78233.\nTo successfully work from home, employees must have access to a minimum internet connection as noted by RBFCU.\nMust have a reliable home internet provider and the ability to hard wire a connection directly to modem (Ethernet cable provided).\nMust be able to provide a workspaces at home that is safe, suitable for work, and within a distraction free environment.\nThe IT Director of Quality Engineering is responsible for establishing and leading a centralized Quality Engineering function that ensures the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions across RBFCU's application portfolio. This leader will define and implement enterprise quality strategies, governance standards, testing practices, automation frameworks, and quality metrics that improve software delivery outcomes while reducing operational risk and production defects. The role serves as a key partner to Application Development, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and support the organization's modernization and digital transformation objectives.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nQuality Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the enterprise Quality Engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap\nEstablish a centralized Quality Engineering organization supporting all application teams\nDefine quality governance, standards, policies, and quality gates across the SDLC\nBuild and develop high-performing Quality Engineering teams and leadership capabilities\nPromote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence\n\nQuality Engineering & Testing ExcellenceImplement standardized testing methodologies including functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing\nDrive adoption of automated testing frameworks and continuous testing practices. Establish test environments, tools, and quality platforms that support modern delivery practices\nEnsure quality considerations are embedded in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD processes\nLead quality planning for major platform upgrades, integrations, and enterprise initiative\nMetrics, Governance & Risk Management - Define and monitor key quality metrics\nDevelop executive dashboards and reporting for technology and business leadership\n\nAutomation & Continuous ImprovementEstablish enterprise test automation and quality engineering frameworks\nDrive efficiencies through automation and AI-enabled testing capabilities.\nTeam - Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and quality engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence\n\nPartnership & Business AlignmentServe as a strategic partner to business and technology leadership, ensuring quality engineering capabilities support enterprise objectives, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, and RBFCU's long-term growth strategy\n\nAll other duties as assigned (note: essential functions and responsibilities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice)\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related fields.
