Since 2006, gameplay, creativity, and teamwork have been at the core of everything we do. We've published over 25 titles, including the award-winning Angry Birds Epic and Angry Birds Evolution. We build our own IPs, like our latest release Songs of Silence, and we take on work-for-hire projects from first concept to launch, on PC, mobile, and cross-platform. Today we're one of Germany's leading game studios: a small, international team of 25 people who love what we do.Your role:\nEveryone here has a hand in what we ship. Now we're looking for someone who wants to be right in the middle of it.\nYou're the link between everyone: the team, our leads, publishers, and partners. You keep the overview across up to three projects at a time, depending on their size, from the first rough prototype all the way to launch. You own team, schedule, budget, and delivery. You work closely with our C-level, bring in your ideas, and help shape how we run projects as a studio.\nWe set the bar high. You can see it in the games we've shipped. But we don't expect you to walk in as a finished Project Lead. We want to build that path with you: step by step, with more responsibility as you're ready for it, regular feedback, and experienced people who have your back. Our goal is to see you grow into a Project Lead role.\nHow we work together\nHere, you're part of the team, not a number. Your opinion shapes our games from the day you start.\nWe work with radical candor: we care about each other, and we're honest with each other. Feedback is direct, specific, and always meant to help. We hope you'll give it as openly as you receive it.\nYou'll also work closely with our production house remote control productions (rcp). That means more know-how, more contacts, and more support for your projects, from funding and business development to publishing deals.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nGuide up to three projects from concept to release.\nBe the go-to person for everyone. When someone needs an answer, a decision, or a nudge, they come to you.\nPlan schedules, spot risks early, and solve them together with the team.\nKeep daily development moving: meetings, priorities, blockers.\nWork side by side with our Creative Director, Art Director, and department leads.\nBring together internal teams, embedded teams, partners, and outsourcers.\nBe the main contact for publishers and partners on your projects.\nPresent progress, risks, and budget to our C-level.\nYour profile:\nYou've shipped at least one game and you've done project management in games.\nYou speak and write fluent English. German is a big plus, since a lot of our office chatter happens in German.\nYou live in or near Munich. We're together in the office Tuesday to Thursday, and Monday and Friday can be home-office days.\nWhat makes you great at this\nYou have a producer mindset. You understand the game and its players, and that shapes your decisions.\nYou know every phase of game development and how the departments fit together.\nYou plan well, communicate clearly, and feel at ease presenting to the team, leadership, or a publisher.\nYou know your way around agile methods like Scrum and project management tools.\nOur project managers work in Coda (Superhuman Docs) every day, and we keep trying new tools that make work better. You're up for that.\nYou're curious about AI and use it every day to make your work, and your team's work, easier.\nBonus points\nNone of these are must-haves. But if any of them sound like you, even better.\nYou've built AI agents or automations that make your PM life easier.\nYou've worked on PC and console titles.\nYou've worked with an international publisher or self-published a game.\nYou have a background in product management.\nA social post or a devlog now and then sounds fun to you.\nNice to have:\nNone of these are must-haves. But if any of them sound like you, even better.\nYou've built AI agents or automations that make your PM life easier.\nYou've worked on PC and console titles.\nYou've worked with an international publisher or self-published a game.\nYou have a background in product management.\nYou don't shy away from the camera or a social post when there's something cool to show.\nPerks\nA creative, casual, and international team in the heart of Munich, just a few minutes from the main station\nFlat hierarchy and short decision paths. Your ideas don't get stuck in layers\nHybrid setup: office Tuesday to Thursday, Monday and Friday from home if you like\nDeutschlandticket, fully reimbursed\nLunch budget of up to €50 per month\nHealth coaching with a sports scientist and medical training therapist (OLAO Health), online and on-site\nA library full of books, games, and consoles\nFree coffee, drinks, and fruit in the office\nBeing part of the rcp family, a network of around 350 developers in studios across Europe, South America, and South Asia\nSound like your kind of team?\nWe'd love to hear from you","description_format":"text","description_chars":4991,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":25,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Germany","iso":"DE","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Game Development","Gaming","Film Production"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T15:06:07Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":121,"reasons":["conf:14","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-26T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/rcp-project-manager-game-development-fmd","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/rcp-project-manager-game-development-fmd.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-27T05:31:08Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4845,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":155,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-28T00:00:00Z"}}}
