These listings are testament to every person who helps make REA a great place to work.\nWhere the team fits in\nAs an Associate Machine Learning Engineer in the AI Experience team (part of the Consumer Experience division), you’ll help build intelligent features that make property discovery more personalised and relevant for our users. You’ll work on recommendation and prediction models that power key experiences across REA’s web and app platforms. This includes using state-of-the-art recommender systems such as deep learning models, collaborative filtering and content-based methods, as well as supporting the development of decision models using techniques like regression and decision trees.\nWorking alongside senior machine learning engineers and data scientists, you’ll contribute to model training, evaluation and deployment. You’ll also help maintain and improve AI pipelines that connect with systems like recommendation engines and user decision flows. This is a great opportunity to deepen your machine learning skills while contributing to impactful products that reach millions of users every day.\nDay to day of the job\nContribute to the design and development of machine learning solutions for REA.\nApply new AI/ML technologies and techniques in products used by over 12 million users.\nBuild and maintain recommendation and prediction models using techniques like deep learning, collaborative filtering, regression and decision trees.\nHelp develop and deploy ML pipelines for both batch and real-time use cases.\nWork with cloud-based tools and frameworks such as Python, Docker, and GCP or AWS.\nParticipate in model evaluation and monitoring.\nCollaborate with senior machine learning engineers and data scientists to take ideas from prototype to production.\nWork closely with product teams to support AI-powered product features.\nContinue to learn and grow your ML skills with hands-on experience and mentoring.\nWho we’re looking for\nundefined\nA degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. \nSome hands-on experience with machine learning, data science or software development projects (through internships, coursework or early professional experience).\nFamiliarity with Python and key ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn or PyTorch. \nUnderstanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, or recommender systems.\nInterest in applying ML to real-world problems like personalised recommendations or user decision models.\nGood communication skills and a willingness to learn and collaborate with others.\nCuriosity, problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for AI technologies\nThe REA experience\nThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
