The role will work closely with Geologists, Survey, Mine Technical Services, Environmental, and other site teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and maintain geological GIS databases and spatial datasets.\n\nProduce geological, structural, geochemical, drilling, exploration, topographic, and tenement maps.\n\nIntegrate geological, geochemical, geophysical, drilling, survey, and field data.\n\nProvide GIS support for exploration planning, geological mapping, sampling, and drilling programmes.\n\nUndertake spatial analysis to support geological interpretation and exploration targeting.\n\nPrepare maps, figures, plans, and GIS outputs for technical reports and management presentations.\n\nMaintain high standards of data accuracy, QA/QC, metadata, and database integrity.\n\nSupport geological modelling, resource development, mine planning, and environmental mapping as required.\n\nAssist with field data collection and GIS requirements during exploration programmes.\n\nEnsure all activities are undertaken in accordance with Woodlark Mining's HSE policies, procedures, and standards.\n\nAbout You\n\nThe successful applicant will have:\n\nA tertiary qualification in Geology, GIS, Geoscience, Geospatial Science, or a related discipline.\n\nPrevious experience in a GIS Geologist, Geological GIS, or similar role within mining or mineral exploration.\n\nStrong working knowledge of ArcGIS, MapInfo and/or QGIS.\n\nExperience managing geological and spatial databases.\n\nGood understanding of geological mapping, exploration, drilling, sampling, and geoscientific data.\n\nStrong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a remote mining and exploration environment.\n\nA strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and teamwork.\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience with Micromine, SQL, Python/ArcPy, remote sensing, UAV/drone data, GNSS/GPS, geochemical/geophysical datasets, or other geological modelling and database systems will be highly regarded.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nOpportunity to work on a significant mining project in Papua New Guinea.\n\nExposure to exploration, resource development, and multidisciplinary technical activities.\n\nProfessional development and career growth opportunities.\n\nCompetitive remuneration and site-based employment conditions.\n\nApplications: Interested applicants should submit a current CV and brief cover letter outlining their qualifications and relevant experience no later than 30 October 2026 to;
