Our team is responsible for owning the data flows and ML infrastructure across the company, which includes realtime audio/video processing, interactions with third party llm providers, data processing orchestration, database management, data APIs, inferencing services, and transcription services.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable and reliable backend services and APIs that power our platform.\n\nTake ownership of critical components of our system, from conception to deployment and maintenance.\n\nPractice quality assurance best practices including unit and integration testing.\n\nOptimize data processing pipelines and storage solutions.\n\nIntegrate third-party services and data sources seamlessly into our platform.\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure and operations to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.\n\nContinuously evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our systems.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, or 7+ years of relevant industry experience.\n\nProven experience in backend development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.\n\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).\n\nFamiliarity with relational and non-relational databases, along with expertise in data modeling and database management.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and results-driven approach.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nExperience with big data processing tools such as Flink and Spark.\n\nExperience with Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\n\nPrior experience in a startup or fast-growing environment.\n\nWhy Read AI?\nInnovative: We bring AI to the masses with proactive technology that acts as the ultimate AI assistant.
