In this role, you'll safely set up, operate, and monitor production equipment used to manufacture high-quality metal components. You'll play a key role in ensuring products meet quality standards while supporting production goals, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.\nIf you enjoy working with machinery, reading blueprints, and producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nSet up and operate manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.\nOperate equipment such as:\nCNC machines\nPress brakes\nPunch presses\nRiveters\nWire benders\nWire straighteners\nOther fabrication equipment\nReview work orders and production routers to determine tooling, materials, and machine setup requirements.\nPerform first-piece inspections and routine quality checks throughout production.\nRead and interpret blueprints, manufacturing specifications, and work instructions.\nUse precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy.\nComplete production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately.\nIdentify quality issues or equipment concerns and communicate them to supervisors.\nAssist with material handling and movement of production materials.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.\nFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\n1-3 years of manufacturing, machine operator, or production experience.\nAbility to read blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.\nBasic math and measurement skills.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience operating CNC machines.\nExperience operating press brakes or punch presses.\nMetal fabrication experience.\nLean Manufacturing or 5S experience.\nQuality inspection experience.\nForklift certification or willingness to become certified.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nFrequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.\nAbility to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and equipment.\nWillingness to work overtime as business needs require.\nWhy Join Masterack?\nAt Masterack, you'll become part of a team dedicated to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
