The team is responsible for building and standardizing CI/CD pipelines that automate how Network Functions are deployed across multiple lab environments, with a future path to production deployments.\nThis role works closely with our client’s application teams and third-party vendors to design, implement, and drive CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps (ADO). The focus is on pipeline development, deployment automation, and workflow orchestration.\nWe are seeking a well-rounded professional who brings an equal balance of vendor management expertise (50%) and hands-on technical skills (50%). This role serves as a key bridge between external partners and internal technical teams, ensuring vendors deliver high-quality solutions while also contributing directly to technical execution and problem-solving\nThis opportunity requires onsite presence twice a week out of any of these locations:\nTexas: Austin, Dallas, Plano\nNew Jersey: Middletown, Bedminster\nGeorgia: Lenox/Atlanta, Alpharetta\nWashington: Bothell, Redmond \nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of Network Functions across lab and future production environments\nCollaborate directly with application teams and third-party application vendors to integrate CI/CD workflows\nCoordinate vendor deliverables, timelines, and dependencies with internal stakeholders\nEnsure vendors meet quality, security, and compliance standards\nIdentify CI/CD improvements and standardization opportunities\nSupport container-based workflows using Docker and Kubernetes\nCreate and troubleshoot Linux shell script templates from scratch\nDevelop and maintain YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines, with emphasis on deployment activities\nWork with Azure DevOps agents, repositories, and pipeline templates\nImplement secure pipeline integrations using Azure Key Vault, service principals, and Azure Resource Manager endpoints\nAutomate infrastructure configuration using Terraform (pipeline-driven, not infra ownership)\nUse Azure CLI extensively for automation and troubleshooting\nDrive and lead technical discussions, design reviews, and working sessions\nTroubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues across environments\nQualifications:\nStrong (about 10+ years of experience) hands-on experience with Linux and shell scripting\nStrong experience working with external vendors is mandatory\nStrong experience with Ansible and Python\nExpert-level understanding of Azure DevOps and Azure, including:\nAzure DevOps Pipelines (especially YAML pipelines)\nAzure DevOps Agents\nAzure DevOps Repos\nAzure Key Vault (AKV)\nAzure Container Registry (ACR)\nAzure Resource Manager (service connections, endpoints, service principals)\n\nExperience creating and maintaining deployment-focused CI/CD pipelines\nStrong experience working with Git (branching, tagging, commits, pull requests)\nSolid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and best practices\nStrong working knowledge of YAML and JSON, including variable definition and reuse\nTroubleshooting and working with different CNI/CSI is a nice to have\nInterview Integrity:\nDuring the interview process, we're evaluating your individual problem-solving skills, creativity, and approach to challenges.
