Our headquarters is located in Cleveland, Ohio.\nResponsibilities\nStore Room Clerk ~ starting wage $26.84\nGreat benefits, retention bonus, and 401K!\nAre you organized?\nDo you like to find ways to save money?\nWe are looking for a Storeroom Clerk, come join our team at Real Alloy!\nRecord inventory of all stockroom items which includes ordering, receiving, stocking, labeling, and taking care of items.\nMaintain the inventory database with accurate inventory counts and vendor information.\nEnter purchase requests for items needed to restock and meet inventory minimum/maximum levels.\nManage supplier communications, including quote requests, order confirmations, and delivery tracking.\nCommunicate with vendors regarding costs, quantities, and lead times when requesting quotes.\nConduct physical cycle counts on all stockroom items.\nVerify the identity and accuracy of incoming materials against purchase orders, ensuring proper quantity and quality.\nEnsure ordered parts arrive on time, are undamaged, and are allocated to the proper location and/or department.\nLabel and identify inventory to ensure easy access when parts are needed.\nAssist personnel on site when parts are needed, including immediate use, ordering, or locating items.\nHelp load and unload semi-trucks when receiving or shipping parts.\nEnsure the stockroom is kept clean and orderly.\nFollow all safety rules and company policies.\nMeet all monthly Safety Leading Indicator requirements as outlined in the Rewards and Recognition Program.\nA formal job description will be provided upon offer and acceptance of employment.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n1-3 years of hands-on experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control role.\nHighly motivated, goal-oriented, ethical, and challenge-driven.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.\nAbility to read and prepare packing slips and labels.\nGood positive attitude.\nExcellent Attendance; Dependability.\nWillingness to learn and apply what is learned.\nWork safely and help to maintain a safe work environment.\nHard working with a good work ethic.\nAbility to operate power equipment.\nAbility to work as a team and independently with little supervision; teamwork.\nStrong written and oral communication skills; respectful communication.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to follow instructions.\nComplete other duties as assigned as required by the needs of the business.\nValid driver's license is required.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to perform different types of physical activities for extended periods of time up to 12 hours, such as walking, climbing, carrying lifting up to 50lbs, stooping, twisting, bending, kneeling, reaching above shoulders, shoveling, sweeping and general cleaning both of plant equipment and property.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
