Additionally, the Operator will provide support for the overall maintenance of REAL facilities which includes snow removal, road and lot sanding, floor care and soccer turf maintenance, and street sweeping. Operators will perform their work tasks both indoors and outdoors throughout the grounds and various facilities.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nOperate all mobile and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.\nPerform daily safety and maintenance checks.\nPerform routine pre and post inspections along with maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment such as fueling or replacing liquified gas tank and checking oil.\nEnsure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored in proper areas.\nOperate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.\nOperate dump truck and front-end loaders/skid steers for the purpose of loading and unloading material such as dirt, sand, snow, gravel.\nHook trucks to trailer hitches and fasten attachments, such as graders, tractors, using hitch pins.\nOrganizing and securing stored materials.\nLoading or unloading materials \nAssist with general labourer duties including but not limited to:\nMoving, setting-up and tearing down of equipment for various events, as directed by the planner/supervisor.\nProviding guidance concerning occupational health and safety when completing certain tasks with laborers.\nPresenting services in a professional, respectful and positive manner at all times when interacting with internal and external customers by:\nListening closely and asking how you can better serve the customer’s needs.\nFulfilling all requests \nEnsuring customers feel welcome by acknowledging them with a smile, making eye contact, engaging in conversation, and anticipating their needs.\nEnsuring that security and safety measures are in place in the facility.\nAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n**This is a casual position and shifts will be scheduled according to the business needs.**\nWage: $20.53/hour\nRequirements\nWHAT IT TAKES\nApply today if you meet the following requirements:\n Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.\n Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Provincial driver’s license.\n Two years’ experience operating heavy and mobile equipment preferred.
