The role provides programmatic guidance to staff, coordinates training and outreach efforts, maintains\npartnerships with community agencies, and contributes to program monitoring and reporting. In addition, the\nposition maintains a limited caseload and provides direct family support services in alignment with program goals.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES\nSupports staff in the delivery of high-quality services to clients and communicates with the Program Officer, Community Action as needed regarding policies, procedures and program-related issues.\nCoordinates and organizes training for staff to support effective case management practices and service delivery standards.\nLeads targeted outreach and recruitment efforts to engage and enroll eligible individuals and families into program services.\nReviews client assessments and individualized service plans to ensure alignment with program goals and requirements.\nConducts regular reviews of client files to verify accuracy, completeness and timeliness in accordance with program and compliance standards.\nEstablishes and maintains relationships with community partners to promote awareness and understanding of Family Development program services.\nCompiles, completes, and submits required outcome and performance reports in accordance with funding and reporting requirements.\nManages and maintains referral agency relationships to support coordinated service delivery and effective client referrals.\nMaintains a minimum caseload of seven (7) families while providing direct support and case management services as required.\nOther duties as may be assigned and/or requested from time to time in fulfillment of the agency’s mission.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsibilities include supporting and supervising staff in the delivery of client services and providing guidance\non program policies, procedures, and service standards in coordination with the Program Officer, Community\nAction. The position coordinates training for staff, leads targeted outreach and recruitment efforts, and reviews\nclient assessments, service plans, and case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Additional\nresponsibilities include maintaining relationships with referral agencies and community partners; compiling\nrequired outcome and performance reports; and managing a minimum caseload of seven families while delivering\ndirect family development services.\nRequirements\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n Bachelor’s B.A. or B.S. degree in Sociology, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.\n Previous supervisory experience preferred.\n Previous case management experience is preferred.\n Previous experience in social services field is preferred.\n Bilingual skills are a plus.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\n Strong organizational and oral/written community skills, with the ability to manage workload priorities and clearly convey instructions, processes, and expectations to staff.\n Knowledge of the community serviced and available resources, along with the ability to instruct, and guide to support effective service delivery.\nDIFFICULTY OF WORK\nThe work requires a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail to balance program oversight, staff\nsupport, compliance monitoring, and direct service responsibilities. The position involves reviewing complex client\ndocumentation, interpreting program requirements, and ensuring service delivery aligns with established standards\nand funding guidelines.
