You’ll be based in Israel, working closely with our Product and Engineering teams, while traveling regularly across the U.S. to work on-site with our enterprise customers.\nYou’ll work directly with customers to understand their business processes, technical environments, and operational challenges, and translate them into AI-powered solutions. You’ll own projects end-to-end - from discovery and requirements gathering through technical design, development, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.\nAs our first FDE, you’ll have a unique opportunity to define how REAL works with customers from a technical perspective, build the processes and best practices for this function, and play a key role in how we scale customer across the U.S., to deeply understand their business processes, technical architecture, data flows, and operational challenges.\nLead technical discovery sessions, gather business and product requirements, and translate complex customer needs into scalable AI-powered solutions.\nDesign, build, configure, and deploy production-ready AI agent s, integrations, and workflows that operate reliably within customer environments.\nWork hands-on with APIs, enterprise systems, structured and unstructured data, and customer infrastructure to deliver end-to-end solutions.\nOwn customer engagements from technical discovery through implementation, deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization.\nValidate solutions using real customer data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and continuously improve system performance and business outcomes.\nDrive measurable business impact by identifying new use cases, increasing platform adoption, and helping drive growth and expansion within customer accounts.\nWork closely with Product and Engineering in Israel to influence product direction based on customer feedback, implementation learnings, and real-world use cases.\nAct as the technical owner throughout the customer engagement, building trusted relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.\nCreate reusable implementation playbooks, tools, and best practices that help scale the FDE function as REAL grows.\nTravel regularly to customer sites across the U.S., including spending meaningful time on-site during discovery, implementation, deployment, and expansion.\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or other highly technical customer-facing roles.\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and a deep understanding of software systems and architecture.\nExperience working with APIs, integrations, data flows, databases, and complex enterprise systems.\nExperience working with AI agents, LLMs, automation platforms, or enterprise AI applications.\nExperience leading technical customer engagements from discovery through deployment.\nStrong product mindset with the ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into scalable product solutions.\nExcellent communication skills and confidence working directly with enterprise customers, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.\nHigh level of ownership and the ability to independently solve ambiguous technical and business problems.\nComfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment and building processes from the ground up.\nBased in Israel and comfortable traveling regularly across the U.S. to work on-site with customers.\nCuriosity and passion for AI, automation, and building technology that creates measurable business impact.\nNice to Have\nExperience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering,
