We’re building a movement in game culture powered by creative energy to redefine game creation and help launch games industry careers.\n\nOur Industry Access Program offers a revolutionary pathway for Unity game devs and artists to launch their careers by securing entry-level roles through an industry training program that combines practical work on AA multiplayer titles with a ‘career intensive’ industry training experience. \n\nThe next intake of the program is strictly limited to 30 places, and applications are assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.\nThe program consists of 2 stages; \n\n1) Scion Foundation Program (SFP): an initial 6-month, remote ‘career intensive’ training program \n\n2) Adeptus Apprenticeship: a 12-month, remote apprenticeship where you’ll take a generalist approach to creating and contributing monetized assets like skins, weapons, and maps to our multiplayer games using Unity and Blender, combining basic in-engine development with 3D and tech art \n\nThe program’s been designed with support from Unity and incorporates a Unity Associate certification (see below) as an additional outcome at graduation.\n\nSCION FOUNDATION PROGRAM\nThe Industry Access Program begins with the SFP, a 6-month, full-time (4 days per week), pre-employment training course designed to prepare you for employment and level up your game creation and Unity skills. The SFP is fully remote and delivered via Discord. \nPlease note: The SFP is a fee-paying, career-intensive training program. Find out more about the costs and entry requirements at the link above.\n\nDuring the SFP, you’ll work on live and in-production games, immersing you in industrial work while you learn. You’ll receive public attribution and professional credits for the work you add to our games, elevating your professional profile. \n\nYou’ll monetize the content you contribute to our games, including player skins and tradeable game items like vehicles and weapons, generating a passive revenue stream of up to $10,000 per year via a 70% revenue share on the assets you create.\n\nADEPTUS APPRENTICESHIP\nUpon successfully completing the SFP you'll step into a 12-month 'Adeptus' apprenticeship (5 days per week) as a Junior Game Developer working with tools like Unity and Blender, building game worlds and assets for MMO games, including our flagship title, 5th Dimension:\nhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/3435630/5th_Dimension/\n\nThis is a fully remote, US Department of Labor registered apprenticeship (Registered apprenticeship program number 2026-CA-140092) and leads to a DOL Certificate of Completion as well as the opportunity to qualify for a Unity Associate Certification.\n\nIf you already have at least 1 year of commercial experience shipping AA multiplayer titles, you can apply for an Adeptus apprenticeship directly. Reach out to our community team via Discord (see below) for more information on how to apply.\n\nUNITY CERTIFICATION\nDuring the program, you’ll also be prepared to qualify as a Unity Certified Associate and gain a globally recognized certification from Unity as a certified game developer or certified game artist that empowers you to work anywhere in the world. The certification is provided as part of the program and is proctored by Pearson VUE.\n\nCAREER PROGRESSION\n\nFollowing completion of the apprenticeship, you’ll qualify for full-time employment with Realityjam in a Junior role as a game artist or game developer, with employment offers made case-by-case.\n\nREMUNERATION\nThe remuneration package paid during the Adeptus Apprenticeship includes:\n\nBase wage: $20 per hour rising to $21.25 per hour after 6 months in line with the registered apprenticeship wage schedule, plus PTO and sick leave\n\nWorking hours: Monday to Wednesday, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET \n\nApprenticeship Training Hours (Related Instruction): 13 hours of unpaid training per week on Thursday and Friday, 11:00 am–6:00 pm ET, scheduled outside of working hours. \n\nLocation: Fully remote \n\nUS Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship (Game Developer - RAPIDS Program No. 2026-CA-140092), leading to a DOL Certificate of Completion, with a progression pathway to a permanent role upon successful completion\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nThe Industry Access Program is available to US RESIDENTS ONLY.
