Oracle CDM/MDM Developer III

Overview

An Oracle Master Data Management (MDM) / Customer Data Management (CDM) & Oracle Product Data Hub Consultant builds and manages single, clean versions of company data. This includes customers, products, and suppliers. Consultants ensure high data quality, set up governance rules, and connect Oracle software to other business programs.

The Master Data Management Consultant will play a critical role in overseeing technology projects that focus on mastering and governing customers, products, pricing, and chart of accounts. This position will be responsible for developing, designing, and developing the Oracle Customer Data Management platform, inclusive of integrations with Oracle CPQ, Oracle Subscription CX, Oracle Fusion ERP, and other Realpage applications. This role will report to the BEST Data Services Senior Manager in our Business Enterprise Systems Technology department. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to managing our Master Data Management (MDM) platform and processes. This will include Oracle Customer Data Management, Oracle Subscription Management CX, Oracle CX CPQ, and Oracle Fusion. This role will also work with key stakeholders across the organization to drive enhancements to a successful implementation.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Fusion CDM, MDM, and Product Data Hub solutions.

• Configure and maintain Customer Data Management (Customers, Parties, Accounts, Contacts, Addresses, Relationships).

• Develop and support Product Data Hub (PDH) item creation, item structures, categories, catalogs, and item relationships.

• Develop inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Develop REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and FBDI-based integrations.

• Build and support BI Publisher reports, OTBI reports, and SQL-based reports.

• Perform data migration using FBDI, ADFDI, HDL, and Oracle import utilities.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Support Oracle quarterly releases and regression testing.

• Prepare technical design documents and support documentation.

• Work with Oracle Support to resolve product-related issues.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Minimum of 6-8 years as a technical hands-on consultant for Master Data Management implementations and technical integrations.

• Hands on experience on Data Management (MDM) / Customer Data Management (CDM) & Oracle Product Data Hub
• • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Customer Data Management, APEX, Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Minimum of 5 years in development and designing MDM solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with PL/SQL
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with applying MDM principles, including data quality and integrity rules, governance, and data transformations.
  • Proficient in data security best practices (encryption methods, access controls, compliance requirements) to ensure data protection.
  • Experience with leading custom application development projects using Oracle Customer Data Management.
