We are based out of San Antonio, TX, but are truly a remote and telecommuting company.\nWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?\nAn accounting supervisor is responsible for leading junior accounting personnel. The supervisor will handle multiple accounting tasks while also managing the billing team and those processes directly. Under the general direction of the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Supervisor plans, supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of the billing team in the areas of accounts receivable, collections, credit card, and banking processes while also completing related work as required.\nWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?\nReview, evaluate, and resolve billing process issues and revenue collections. Maintain preparation of statements and invoices and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.\nMonthly Reconciliations for the Banks, Deferred Revenue, and Deferred Expenses.\nAssist in the monthly closing process\nPayroll processing (Bi-weekly and Semi-monthly payrolls) \nEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. \nSupervise the billing and assist in hiring, training, and reviewing the performance of staff.\nProcesses documents related to expenses. \nContribute to the maintenance of accounting data and provide support as needed to the accounting department. \nManage various forms of accounting data, such as that related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.\nMust communicate intelligently and effectively at all levels of the organization with a high accounting and customer service orientation.\nAssist with GAAP financial statements through document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes.\nParticipate in the development of policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with established policies and procedures and make recommendations for changes and improvements.\nPerform ad-hoc analysis and assist with the execution of special projects as needed.\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.\nOrganize work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.\nWHAT DO YOU NEED?\nOver 5 years of experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Team Lead with at least 3 years of direct supervision and training. \nMust have the Software as a Service Industry experience.\nDiversified experience with financial accounting systems and the Microsoft suite.\nKnowledge and skill in the application of GAAP and other applicable financial reporting and accounting regulations.\nKnowledge of accounting information systems.\nPrinciples of supervision and training. \nAbility to review and analyze complex accounting and financial data.\nExperience with journal entries\nReconcile journals, ledgers, and legal documents.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nCritical thinking, problem-solving, ability to work independently or as a team.\nWHAT SETS YOU APART?\nA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting or another related field.\nSarbanes-Oxley or related internal control compliance.\nADP PEO experience preferred.\nWHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?\nThe company sponsors health insurance, long-term disability, and life insurance.\nUnlimited Paid Time Off.\n10 paid Holidays.\nPaid Parental Leave.\nWork Anniversary Bonus.\nParticipation in the Employee of the Quarter Program.\nMonthly $100 Connectivity Stipend Reimbursement.\nRealTime matches employee 401K contributions at 100% of the first 3% invested and 50% of the next 2% invested.\nAll successful candidates must complete and pass reference and background checks.\nThe desired salary must be indicated for the application to be considered.\nThe pay rate is commensurate with experience and is determined on an individual basis after an interview has occurred.\nEqual Opportunity Employer -
