For Real.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a Sr Data Engineer, to join the Marketing Technologies team supporting the CRM Marketing organization.\nYou will build and scale systems that power personalized customer engagement across email, push, and SMS campaigns for millions of Realtor.com users.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop data pipelines and APIs that support CRM personalization and targeting\nBuild integrations between internal data platforms and external marketing systems (Braze, Cordial, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)\nCreate data models for segmentation, audience activation, and campaign measurement\nCollaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and CRM Operations to align architecture and data flow\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure reliability of CRM pipelines\nImprove automation, reduce manual workflows, and enhance campaign delivery performance\nMaintain clear documentation for data flows, processes, and systems\nParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices\nAbout You\n5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in MarTech or CRM systems\nStrong proficiency in Python and SQL\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience\nExperience with Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, or similar data platforms\nHands-on experience with Kafka, AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudWatch), or other event-driven systems\nFamiliarity with marketing tools such as Braze, Cordial, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Hightouch\nUnderstanding of data modeling (dimensional, normalized) and real-time event processing\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills\nEffective communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments\nNice to Have\nExperience building APIs or ETL pipelines for marketing or customer data platforms\nExperience with real-time personalization or recommendation systems\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)\nUnderstanding of customer lifecycle, campaign orchestration, and attribution measurement\nImpact\nYour work will directly improve how Realtor.com engages with millions of users through relevant, timely, and personalized communications — driving user retention, reactivation, and conversion.\nHow We Work\nWe balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration.
