This role ensures accuracy in inventory control, supports customer service and shipping activities (domestic and international), manages various administrative functions, and coordinates property and supply needs. The position serves as a key link between operations, customer service, HR, and logistics to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant warehouse and distribution activities.\nCORE FUNCTIONS\n*Specific responsibilities may vary by site, shift, and business needs.\nInventory Control & Logistics\nInvestigate scrap, discrepancies, and obsolescence; report and assist with troubleshooting.\nPerform and document cycle counts, stock audits, and year-end physical inventories (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and storage locations).\nCommunicate shortages and adjustments to scheduling and purchasing to avoid delays or backorders.\nMaintain organized records of inventory findings, discrepancies, and resolutions.\nPrepare customs paperwork, BOLs, booking shipments, and ensure compliance with OEM, EDI, ASN, and other customer requirements.\nSupport daily shipping activities for domestic and international shipments, stepping in to perform shipping duties when needed.\nOperate warehouse equipment per safety guidelines (with certification) when needed.\nOperations & Quality Support\nConduct pallet counts for OEM/Amazon, GP, Manhattan\nBooking OEM/Amazon shipments through vendor portals\nAuditing shipments - OEM/Amazon, GP, Manhattan\nCarrier follow up on missed shipments\nCommunicate with facility leadership to ensure timely completion and quality standards of OEM/Amazon shipments\nResearch and correct quality defects\nEnsure Outbound virtual locations are updated and accurate, resolve issues by collaborating with Inventory Control team \nAdministrative & Customer Service Support\nServe as first point of contact for incoming calls, truck drivers, service technicians, visitors, and general inquiries.\nSchedule meetings, act as reception, and provide administrative support for warehouse leadership.\nWork within ERP and WMS systems to:oUpdate shipping addresses.\noUpgrade shipping methods.\noCoordinate resolution of failed orders.\noTrack inquiries and verify stock availability.\n\nProcess paperwork including BOLs, packing slips, and related documents.\nRecord and distribute notes for safety meetings.\nMay support HR in onboarding and orientation at some sites.\nFacilities & Supply Management\nMay oversee DC services including scheduling maintenance and ordering PPEs and janitorial supplies.\nManage inventory of office supplies, reordering as needed.\nMaintain a safe, clean work environment; immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors.\nFinancial & Recordkeeping\nSubmit receipts and invoices for recordkeeping purposes.\nEnsure filing and recordkeeping systems are accurate, organized, and accessible.\nQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS\nEducation and Experience\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\n1-2 years of related warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience required.\nPrevious experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred (Manhattan ERP experience an asset).\nPowered industrial truck (PIT) operation experience preferred.\nRequired Licenses\nPowered industrial truck (PIT) certification is preferred; company certified upon hire.\nSkills, Abilities, and Knowledge\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills.\nAbility to learn and adapt to multiple systems.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to troubleshoot discrepancies and provide solutions.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiences.\nAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail with ability to interpret and follow varied instructions.\nBasic math and logic skills required for inventory accuracy and reporting.\nTravel\nOccasional travel may be required.\nCOMPETENCIES\nAdapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nSynthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures.\nFollows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
