This role will be responsible for implementing new products into the manufacturing environment, applying lean manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement initiatives, creating process standardization, and focusing on process improvements.\nCore Functions\nAnalyze production data and identify opportunities to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase throughput.\nDevelopment of work process’ to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training.\nPerform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, line layout design for existing and new manufacturing process and machine needs and develop better tools or systems.\nParticipate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment processes.\nProvide daily engineering support to production operations\nCollaborate with supervisions and operators to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve efficiency.\nCoordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new products.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation in support of IATF certification.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field required.\n2+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering required.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Techniques.\nExperience with quality system planning and certification, such as IATF, ISO & TS16949.\nSix Sigma Yellow/Green/Black belt is a plus.\nSkills, Abilities, and Knowledge\nSkilled in Microsoft Office.\nAbility to write, speak, and comprehend English.\nKnowledge of fiberglass molding processes is a plus\nExperience with process validation and production launch activities\nExperience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies\nProficiency with Solidworks 3D modeling software\nAbility to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization.\nAbility to problem solve through 8D approach.\nGeneral knowledge of GD&T\nPerks That Go the Extra Mile :\nAt RealTruck, we take care of our people-because they drive our success.
