In this role, you are the primary connection between Rebel and the programs in your territory. You will meet with customers in person, learn their needs, guide them through the process, and help them create something they’re excited to wear. You’ll work closely with internal teams who support design, production, and customer experience, but you are the relationship builder who keeps everything moving.\nThis role is best suited for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, building relationships, and managing their own pace and performance. Success in this role comes from developing strong customer partnerships and growing your territory over time.\nThis is afull-time position that requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. As a territory-based sales representative, you are expected to dedicate your time to managing customer relationships, prospecting, appointments, events, and territory development. NC\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nTerritory Ownership and Growth\nOwn and grow a defined geographic territory with full accountability for results\nIdentify gaps, target high-value opportunities, and build a strategic territory plan\nMaintain a strong pipeline that supports consistent revenue growth\nTake full ownership of performance, activity, and outcomes\nNew Business Development and Hunting\nSpend a minimum of 50% of time in the field prospecting within your territory\nCold call, visit, and engage schools, gyms, and programs daily\nGenerate new leads through consistent outreach, networking, and event presence\nBuild pipeline through disciplined prospecting, not inbound reliance\nMaintain high activity levels across calls, visits, and follow-ups\nSales Execution and Closing\nOwn the full sales cycle from first contact through close\nConduct in-person presentations, fittings, and product demonstrations\nDrive urgency in the sales process and move opportunities forward\nClose business consistently and convert prospects into long-term customers\nHandle objections confidently and maintain control of the sales process\nCustomer Management and Responsiveness\nMaintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers\nRespond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and issues\nSet clear expectations and ensure follow-through on all commitments\nDeliver a high level of service that reinforces trust and drives repeat business\nCross-Functional Execution\nPartner with internal teams to ensure accurate order execution and delivery timelines\nCommunicate clearly on customer needs, deadlines, and expectations\nOwn the customer experience from sale through fulfillment\nEvents and Market Presence\nRepresent Rebel Athletic at competitions, trade shows, and industry events\nUse events as a primary source of lead generation and relationship building\nEstablish strong visibility and credibility within your market\nPerformance and Accountability\nMeet or exceed sales targets consistently\nMaintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and reporting\nOperate with urgency, discipline, and a results-driven mindset\nTake accountability for both wins and losses within your territory\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of outside or territory sales experience\nProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals\nDemonstrated experience in cold calling, prospecting, and closing\nStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills\nAbility to work independently and manage a territory without supervision\nHigh level of organization and time management\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and general CRM usage\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in cheer, dance, athletics, or apparel\nExisting network within schools, gyms, or athletic programs\nExperience with event-based or seasonal sales cycles\nCompensation Structure\nThis position follows a draw against commission model.\nYou will receive bimonthly draw payments that are recouped against future commissions. Once earned commissions exceed the annual draw amount, additional commissions are paid according to the Rebel Athletic Sales Compensation Plan.
