This is a role with real autonomy and broad scope, from cloud identity and endpoint management to network infrastructure and office equipment, where practical problem-solving and a proactive mindset matter more than ticking boxes.\nYou might be our missing piece if you have:\n3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a production environment: Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, security & compliance.\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft Intune for both Windows and macOS, including Autopilot enrollment and troubleshooting.\n\nPractical networking knowledge: firewalls (e.g., Cisco Firepower, Meraki), VLANs, Wi-Fi management, and troubleshooting across sites.\n\nExperience with meeting room video conferencing equipment (Poly Studio, Cisco Room Kit, or similar).\n\nKnowledge of access control systems (Paxton, HID).\n\nComfortable across Windows and macOS ecosystems, as well as Windows Server and Linux.\n\nOwnership mindset: you see problems through to resolution and document as you go.\n\nSecurity-first thinking applied pragmatically: least privilege, sensible policies, no unnecessary friction for colleagues.\n\nAbility to prioritize and self-organize across a broad, varied workload spanning multiple offices.\n\nClear, direct communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\n\nA sense of belonging while reading about our culture\n\nWe would be thrilled if you have:\nPowerShell scripting / Microsoft Graph API for automation.\n\nExperience with Google Workspace administration.\n\nExposure to IT consulting or client-facing Microsoft 365 implementation projects.\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300)\n\nWe will be working together on the following:\nAdministering and continuously improving our Microsoft 365 environment: Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SharePoint, and Teams - identity, access management, conditional access policies, and app governance.\n\nManaging Windows and macOS endpoints through Microsoft Intune - enrollment (Autopilot), configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment (Jamf experience is a plus).\n\nMaintaining and supporting network infrastructure and office equipment across multiple locations: firewalls, switches, wireless, guest access, VPN, as well as meeting rooms (video conferencing systems such as Poly Studio, Cisco Room) and access control systems (Paxton, HID).\n\nHandling employee onboarding and offboarding processes from the IT side, keeping documentation up to date.\n\nMonitoring infrastructure health.\n\nManaging software licensing across the organization, tracking usage, identifying overlaps, and optimizing costs.\n\nActing as an escalation point for complex IT issues and providing occasional consulting support on client facing Microsoft 365 projects.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2957,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Custom Software Development"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T04:25:36Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":3,"expected_fill_days":39,"reasons":["conf:21","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/rebeldot-it-system-administrator","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/rebeldot-it-system-administrator.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T00:13:43Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":178,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4822,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
