Responsibilities include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency, and planning factory layouts to optimize production.\nWhat you'll get to do\nEvaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement. \nEnsuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety/quality standards and regulations. \nAnalyze production processes, schedules, methods and other data and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process. \nAble to apply Lean / TOC production principles and practices to the manufacturing environment.\nWorks with all levels of the organization to identify and implement process improvements.\nWorks closely with maintenance to ensure the maintainability of new installations by implementing an effective predictive and preventative program.\nEnsures workplace safety with heavy focus on operator ergonomics.\nImprove labor productivity/efficiency through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams. \nImprove workstation layout, workflow, and assembly methods.\nResponsible for in-house process validations, must be well-versed in process qualification/validation.\nSupports NPD teams with DFM direction.\nSupport Product/Process validation and verification. \nPerform engineering changes/product improvements to sustain current production.\nWrite, update, and approve production processes and procedures. \nWork with quality department in effort to resolve production and supplier nonconformities.\nLiaising with suppliers, customers and research and development staff.\nResearch, purchase, and/or implement new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems.\nProvide technical expertise and support to production personnel.\nWhat you bring to the team\nBachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with experience in product development and/or manufacturing or equivalent job experience.\n3-5 years demonstrated ability in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of production equipment for purchase, installation, and repair.\nLeadership, teamwork, problem solving, and information technology skills.\nCommercial awareness.\nWe want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate\nRe:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
