(link to The Re:Build Way principles)\n\nWho we are looking for\nThe Senior Systems Engineer designs, implements, secures, and supports enterprise IT systems across a multi-site manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on senior role requiring deep technical expertise, strong operational ownership, and effective partnership with business and technical teams.\nThe role owns resolving operational issues while also leading infrastructure modernization and enterprise delivery initiatives across hybrid and cloud environments.\nNOTE: This position is cross posted for all Re:Build Manufacturing locations. \nWhat you get to do!\nEscalation Support & Availability\nOwn and resolve Tier 3 incidents involving hardware, software, identity, endpoints, and infrastructure.\nMonitor system health, diagnose root causes, and implement permanent fixes to maintain uptime.\nServe as the final resolution point for complex, high-impact technical issues.\nEnterprise Projects & Architecture\nLead end-to-end delivery of enterprise initiatives, including system migrations, new implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts.\nDesign, configure, upgrade, manage, and solve systems across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.\nPartner with collaborators to gather requirements, design solutions, implement changes, document outcomes, and complete operational handoff.\nEstablish and enhance standard processes for system design, testing, implementation, security, and operational support.\nCloud, Identity & Collaboration\nDesign and support solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.\nAdminister Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), identity governance, and MFA.\nSupport Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, and Defender.\nIntegrate identity and access controls across Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments, supporting secure authentication, authorization, and least-privilege access.\nLead cloud and collaboration migrations, including on-premises to cloud, tenant-to-tenant, and post-acquisition integrations.\nEndpoint, Server & Core Infrastructure\nAdminister and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise endpoint environments, including mixed or partially migrated deployments.\nDesign, monitor and support Windows Server environments up to and including Windows Server 2022.\nSupport Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, and core identity services.\nAdminister virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.\nHybrid, Multi-Environment Architecture\nDesign and support hybrid architectures spanning on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.\nWork within multi-forest Active Directory, multi-tenant Microsoft 365, and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, VMware).\nPartner with software development and digital teams to ensure infrastructure enables secure, scalable solutions.\nNetworking & Security\nDesign and support network infrastructure including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and access points.\nAdminister and support Fortinet network and security equipment.\nImplement security-first architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.\nSupport regulated environments including Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure Government, and AWS GovCloud.\nParticipate in environments where FedRAMP and other regulatory requirements may apply.\nAutomation, Documentation & Leadership\nDrive automation and scripting to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.\nCreate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and fixing guides.\nProvide clear ticket communication and technical guidance to collaborators.\nMentor and support other IT and technology teams across the organization.\nWhat you bring to the Team\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years delivering enterprise IT solutions end-to-end.\n7+ years diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues.\n5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.\nHands-on experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise environments, including upgrade planning and mixed deployments.\nExperience handling Windows Server environments up to Server 2022.\nDeep experience with Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, and Exchange.\nStrong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, and hybrid identity.\nExperience designing and supporting hybrid, multi-forest, multi-tenant, and multi-cloud architectures.\nHands-on experience supporting regulated government cloud environments, including Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and environments aligned to FedRAMP and/or ITAR requirements\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document clearly.\nStrong experience in prioritizing leading competing workstreams.\nPreferred\nExperience with Fortinet networking and security equipment.\nExposure to OT networking in
