This role focuses on continuous improvement, operational standardization, safety initiatives, warehouse system optimization and data-driven performance improvements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLogistics Area Ownership\nOwn assigned logistics area performance in safety, quality, cost, productivity, wastage and throughput.\nMonitor Logistics KPIs and support achievement of operational targets.\nSafety and Risk Management\nLead warehouse safety improvement initiatives by performing risk assessments and identifying opportunities to eliminate hazards.\nImplement engineering and administrative safety controls to eliminate hazards in warehouse and material handling locations.\nInvestigate warehouse incidents and implement preventive actions.\nWarehouse Process Optimization\nAnalyze current warehouse and material handling processes to identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.\nOptimize warehouse space utilization\nRoot cause analysis to solve recurring operational issues for warehouse logistics in REC.\nInventory Management Improvement\nReduce inventory losses and material handling errors by investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.\nImprove inventory transaction accuracy within ERP/WMS systems.\nStandard Operating Procedures Management (SOPs) & training\nDevelop, implement, review, and continuously improve warehouse SOPs and work instructions (WIs).\nEnsure warehouse processes remain standardized across all shifts and operational teams.\nMaintain controlled documentation for warehouse procedures.\nTrain Warehouse Logistics Supervisors and Material Handlers on new processes and WIs.\nCross Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with other departments and functional groups to support new materials or product introductions by developing material handling strategies.\nParticipate in capacity planning and warehouse expansion projects\n\nESSENTIAL JOB COMPETENCIES:\nSafety Leadership\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse safety principles and regulatory requirements.\nProactively identifies operational risks and develops preventive solutions.\nPromotes a proactive safety culture through engineering controls and process improvements\nWarehouse Process Engineering\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, storage systems and logistics engineering principles.\nAbility to implement efficient warehouse processes that support manufacturing operations.\nInventory Management\nPossess strong knowledge of inventory control methodologies.\nUnderstands inventory accuracy drivers, transaction controls, traceability and warehouse auditing.\nData Analysis & Problem Solving\nCapability to collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making.\nAbility to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies and make recommendations or corrective actions based on quantitative evidence.\nContinuous Improvement\nAbility to apply lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and 5S methodologies.\nDemonstrates ability to identify waste and implement sustainable improvements.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Communication\nEffectively communicates technical concepts to operational teams\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nParticipate in the interview for the recruitment of new material handlers\nAny adhoc duties requested by Logistics Manager\nBachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Material Management or Engineering.\nKnowledge in warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment is advantageous.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nEntry level candidates are welcome to apply.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:\nGood working knowledge of 5S & visual management\nCapable of writing SOP & WI required for warehouse management and operations.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001\nKnowledge of tools and methodologies like Root Cause Analysis and TPM, etc. will be an added advantage.\nKnowledge on MHE and warehouse racking will be an added advantage\nAble to work in fast-paced environment and under stress\nContinuous improvement mindset and ability to drive for sustainable implementation.\nStrong work ethic and professionalism\nSkills and abilities to perform job include: analytical communication, presentation skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, exercises mature judgment;
