Knowing Microservice Architecture is a plus. \nAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques. \nProven ability to design complex distributed applications built for high performance and throughput while being scalable and reliable. \nDevelopment using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS. \nExperience with asynchronous programming. \nDemonstrated experience profiling and performance tuning Java applications, and using monitoring tools for production application monitoring. \nPractical experience applying AI frameworks in development projects.\nSOFT SKILLS:\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including Chapters Engineering, \nArchitecture, Infrastructure and Mobile Engineering. \nProactive mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality, user-centric mobile experiences. \nAbility to mentor peers, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. \nFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment, with openness to feedback and eagerness to learn. \nAlignment with company values: ownership, excellence, adaptability, and innovation.\nINDUSTRY-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:\nIt is desirable to have practical familiarity with one or more core financial domains such as credit cards, lending, payments, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services, along with an understanding of their fundamental workflows and business drivers. Experience in how these domains intersect to influence revenue, risk management, and customer satisfaction is highly valued.\nIdeally, candidates will have applied this knowledge to deliver solutions such as loan-origination engines with real-time decisioning; scalable payment-processing platforms integrated with core banking systems and third-party gateways; secure open-finance interfaces compliant with industry regulations; automated fraud-detection pipelines leveraging behavioral analytics; or financial reporting and reconciliation engines for regulatory compliance.
