Federal Reserve Bank of MinneapolisThe Administrative Sergeant is a strategic leader within the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Police, responsible for coordinating critical administrative, operational, and compliance functions. This role provides essential leadership support across training coordination, technical services, compliance management, hiring and recruitment. The position ensures continuity of essential administrative functions, mitigates operational risks, and serves as a key liaison with external law enforcement partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Coordination: Supervise training programs, track certifications, address compliance gaps, and support professional development initiatives.

• Compliance Management: Oversee completion of annual compliance requirements, supervise compliance staff, monitor adherence to standards, prepare reports, and support policy review.

• Omnigo System Expertise: Serve as subject matter expert, train staff, audit records, and liaise with IT for system optimization.

• Technical Services Support: Provide backup leadership for TSU, oversee physical security technologies, manage credentialing, and maintain readiness for audits and emergencies.

• Hiring & Recruitment: Lead hiring processes, coordinate interviews, ensure compliance with hiring policies, oversee onboarding, and maintain accurate records.

• Communication & Administration: Maintain clear communication with staff, prepare documents, and update manuals as needed.

• Additional Duties: Support operations during emergencies, participate in special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum three years of relevant military, law enforcement or armed security experience with two years of full-time experience as a sworn law enforcement officer.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with law enforcement technology systems, expertise in Omnigo, and working knowledge of physical security technologies and district systems.

• Core Competencies: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to interpret policies, manage multiple priorities, and build effective partnerships.

• Preferred: Prior TSU experience, Federal Reserve System operations, and external law enforcement partnerships.
• Preferred FRLEO II.

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility for meetings, events, and emergency response.

• Availability for 24/7 response to critical incidents or outages.

• Ability to serve on District and System workgroups.

*The full salary range is $70,500-$88,135-$105,800.

The expected starting salary range is $75,000-$90,000. Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
