Develops and leads plans for effective communication strategies, projects, and programs specifically to promote engagement and understanding of Bank and department goals, high-priority initiatives, and stakeholder viewpoints.\nEssential Accountabilities\nAdvises key stakeholders on developing and executing effective communication strategies related to high-priority projects and develops and oversees additional projects.\nResponsible for creation and execution of communication strategies and tactics targeted at Bank leadership and employees.\nWrites or reviews communication deliverables for the Bank or department across a variety of communication media.\nDevelops and implements measurement strategies related to communications tools and approaches.\nDevelops key relationships with and promotes ongoing collaborative partnerships with Bank and Federal Reserve System colleagues.\nEnsures web content and communication materials are maintained to keep information current and engaging.\nRecognized as an expert and advisor within the organization and has in-depth expertise in communications and broad knowledge of other disciplines within other departments.\nIn support of the Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics (SCS) Department:Leads the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies to promote engagement and understanding of Bank and SCS functional goals, high-priority initiatives, and key messages, both internally and externally.\nServes as a key advisor to SCS leadership, creates communication deliverables across multiple mediums for both regular weekly communications as well as a variety of ad hoc communication needs\nEnsures SCS internal and external web pages are up to date and accurate.\n\nSolves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on business lines or the Bank. Experience working in a matrixed communications environment.\nPerforms other duties as assigned or requested.\nEducation and Experience\nCommunications Advisor\nBachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, journalism, or business\n7+ years of related experience\nCommunications Advisor Senior\nBachelor’s degree and 10 years of related work experience OR\nMaster’s degree and 7 years of related work experience\nKnowledge and Skill Areas- Expert Level\nPrevious experience translating complex initiatives into effective communication campaigns\nAdvanced skills to counsel senior leadership in the capacity of a strategic advisor\nExpert written, verbal, and multimedia communication skills\nExpert knowledge of project management\nExperience using data analytics to measure effectiveness of communication initiatives\nExpert in creating concise and compelling communications for different audiences\nExperience with content-management platforms; familiarity with Sitecore a plus\nExpert knowledge of creating and executing effective communications plans and campaigns\nExperience leveraging intranet to drive employee engagement\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications\nExpert problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail\nWorking knowledge of design tools; experience with Canva and Photoshop a plus\n Individual and team innovation and collaboration\nThe expected starting salary range for the Communications Advisor is between $100,300 and $125,400 annually and for the Communication Advisor Senior is between $123,700 and $154,600.
