Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.\nAbout the role\nThe Technician is a critical step in the development towards more senior operations roles. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The position supports continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards while helping meet production and customer service objectives.\nThis is a night role, 12 hour shifts 6 pm - 6:15 am, 3-4 shifts per week w/alternating weekends. Pay starts at $24/hr + $1 for shift differential\nThe Process Technician is responsible for all steps in converting raw materials into finished product, including but not limited to bulk raw material receiving, cleaning (both in place and out of place), process monitoring, spill response cleanup, water sampling, inventory and waste treatment.\nYour responsibilities\nPerform root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs to minimize downtime.\nComplete changeovers, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize line performance.\nFollow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE, HAZCOM, LOTO, machine guarding, and emergency response requirements.\nReport unsafe conditions, participate in safety audits and meetings, and support environmental, health, and safety objectives.\nFollow production documentation, work instructions, control plans, and GMP guidelines to ensure product quality and minimize waste.\nThe experience we're looking for\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.\nAbility to operate packaging lines and related equipment, including startup, shutdown, manual operations, and jam clearing.\nExperience with changeovers, washouts, preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments to maximize uptime.\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, initiative, and ability to manage work independently.\nProficient in using electronic devices for data entry and reporting.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills in English.\nWillingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industrial safety procedures.\nThe skills for success\nTechnology Proficiency - Computer Literacy Skills (for email, automated batching, inventory systems, payroll, etc). Technicians operate Lift Truck to move/store raw materials.\nMust be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, reach overhead, walk, climb/ work from heights, and lift up to 50 pounds \nAnalytical Skills - Technicians must have the ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions as a fully participating member of a self-managed work team.\nObservational Skills - Technicians monitor changes of temperature, pressure, visual appearance, physical changes and other significant developments which serve as an indication of process failure.\nOrganizational Skills - Technicians prepare and make ready all materials for manufacturing. \nComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with typical factory noise and temperature conditions.\nConsistently follow PPE requirements and all workplace safety standards.\nWhat we offer\nWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
