This position supports daily packaging activities while leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. Working closely with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply, and Engineering teams, you will use data-driven decision making, Lean principles, and problem-solving methodologies to optimize packaging processes, improve equipment reliability, and ensure efficient, compliant packaging operations.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced packaging environment. You will lead improvement projects, support packaging validation and new product introductions, drive waste and downtime reduction efforts, and help strengthen operator capability through training and documentation excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on packaging performance while contributing to Reckitt's culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nYour responsibilities\nMonitor packaging performance and analyze Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People metrics to identify and implement improvement opportunities within the Reckitt Production System (RPS).\nLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies to optimize packaging processes, improve equipment reliability, and resolve operational challenges.\nSupport packaging process changes, line validations, documentation updates, and equipment troubleshooting to ensure efficient and compliant packaging operations.\nPartner with cross-functional teams on new product introductions, packaging technology transfers, line commissioning, and packaging optimization projects.\nEnsure compliance with GMP, ISO, safety, and sustainability requirements while driving waste reduction, minimizing line downtime, and strengthening operator capability through training and best-practice implementation.\n This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.\nThe experience we're looking for\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of process engineering experience in packaging, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or similar production environments.\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies to enhance packaging line performance.\nExperience troubleshooting packaging equipment and processes, analyzing production data, implementing process controls, and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nExperience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance with GMP, ISO, food safety, or similar quality and regulatory standards.\nExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams on capital projects, packaging line commissioning, technology transfers, process validations, training initiatives, and operational improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing or packaging setting.\nThe skills for success\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA Management, Packaging Optimization, Process Improvement, Equipment Reliability, Data Analysis, Line Commissioning, Operational Excellence\nWhat we offer\nWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.\nWe invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally.
