# Procurement Manager

About the role As Procurement Manager, you’ll lead Direct Procurement and Indirect Supply activities across South Africa, managing a team of Buyers and driving strategic sourcing and cost optimisation across packaging, raw materials and services.You’ll play a key role in improving cost efficiency, gross margin and working capital by developing and strengthening purchasing strategies, tools and processes. The role also oversees high-level contracting activities, including product development and supply, intellectual property and third-party investments. Your responsibilities Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement regional procurement strategies, including strategic sourcing and supplier contracting, to drive competitive advantage and meet business needs. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate and manage reliable suppliers, ensuring performance, quality and service through regular scorecards and continuous improvement.
