You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.\nAbout the role\nYour responsibilities\nWork with matrix team to identify relevant consumer insights and ensure they are at the forefront to develop formulas, new products, and technologies in support of brand initiatives.\nLead key projects through the feasibility process as R&D representative.\nWork cross-functionally and be R&D lead on project teams to achieve key milestones and objectives.\nCollaborate with Marketing, Packaging, and Consumer Insights team to develop, define and design studies to help progress projects to build out our portfolio.\nLead and advance multiple projects through front-end product development.\nFoster strategic growth in innovation processes and systems across team and organization.\nDevelop consumer focused technical product strategies to support product development and short-term and long-term innovation.\nFoster personal development growth with continuous coaching and feedback on career development as per the Corporate Core Values.\nDeliver projects to launch on time, budget and to the appropriate performance standards, quality and cost.\nResponsible to ensure all required technical work is performed on time and according to the required standards, performing the required lab work and providing guidance to assistants /technicians if applicable.\nBuilds detailed consumer & technical knowledge of respective areas of the product portfolio/ technologies and leverage this within day-to-day activities.\nWork with outside suppliers/teams to help deliver pipeline needs.\nThe experience we're looking for\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducated to Masters/Degree level (Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, cosmetics, or other relevant science.\nEXPERIENCE\nMinimum 5-10 years R&D experience with a proven track record of R&D projects delivery.\nExperience of working in cosmetic formulation environment is desirable.\nStrong technical background in Personal care formulation, surfactants, and processing.\nStrong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a cross Functional environment including marketing, supply, procurement, regulatory, clinical, and legal team.\nOral & written communication skills to effectively provide feedback to reporting manager and cross functional team members.\nGlobal mindset, commercial understanding of corporate & operational business issues.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically, develop tactics and measurable implementation plans and able to transform solid thinking into action.\nThe skills for success\n#N/A\nWhat we offer\nWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.\nWe invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally.
