# Snr Materials Planner

About the role The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw and packaging materials to support the factory production plan. The role leverages Kinaxis Rapid Response to plan material requirements, monitor constraints, and provide visibility of risks. It ensures materials are available in the right quantity and at the right time, while optimising inventory and minimising production disruptions. Your responsibilities Material Planning & Availability Plan raw and packaging material requirements based on the production plan using Kinaxis Rapid Response. Ensure material availability to support manufacturing schedules. Monitor and resolve material shortages proactively to avoid line stoppages. Inventory Management Manage material inventory levels in line with service and working capital targets. Monitor and reduce slow-moving and obsolete materials (SLOB). Maintain appropriate planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, MOQ) Supplier & Procurement Coordination Work with Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
