People that take the initiative and action to pursue production line goals and complete tasks. People that are thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks. If you are this person, we encourage you to apply!\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nSets up production equipment to run scheduled production\nDiscusses difficulties in operating equipment with machine operators to isolate problems and then troubleshoots machine to determine cause and repairs required.\nMust be able to read and follow directions as found in technical manuals as well as be able to document any and all changes they are involved in. so as to refer back to the notes and records a thereby gain understanding as to how to set up lines an adjust machines and conveyors as needed.\nPerforms necessary repairs on equipment to keep it in top running order.\nMust be able to perform major mechanical overhauls of some packaging equipment\nCarries out required preventative maintenance on equipment.\nAssists in determining required design modifications and makes approved modifications to equipment.\nPerforms tasks in accordance with approved procedures and following all safety procedures and GMPs\nProvides coverage for mechanics on other shifts, as needed.\nMust be able to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting.\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nMinimum 4 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment\nAbility to stand and walk for periods of time\nAble to work scheduled overtime or shift changes when required\nAble to lift to 50 pounds periodically throughout the manufacturing shift and meet physical requirements of position including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, reaching with both hands/arms, ability to visually inspect product\nBasic math skills\nExcellent communication skill set (verbal, written, etc.)\n\nWhat You Will Get\n\nPrestone offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
