If you share these values and are passionate about making a positive impact, we'd love to have you on our team.\nAbout the role\nThe EPR Data Consultant will work alongside our Customer Representatives who act as the customer facing touchpoint, to ensure all data submissions are submitted to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for manipulating and collating final data submissions under a variety of different country regulations, including but not limited to, waste packaging, waste electrical and electronics (WEEE), waste batteries and textiles. With support from International Compliance Advisors/Consultants, they will quickly develop a good knowledge of the relevant environmental waste compliance regulations, ensuring that all US data obligations are met for accounts.\nThe candidate will work closely with the Customer Representatives and will maintain a good knowledge of the relevant account in order to ensure data submitted to the relevant authorities complies with legal requirements and regulations. They will also work together to ensure that the customer is receiving a high level of service overall.\nThe ideal candidate will be confident working in both a busy team environment and on their own initiative. As a newly developed team, this will be an exciting opportunity to develop and contribute towards a rapidly growing Valpak service.\n\n Key Accountabilities\nManagement Of Data For Allocated Accounts\nWork alongside the customer facing account manager to ensure that compliance data is accurate and submitted on time \nWork with the data teams to ensure all data submissions are completed to a high standard \nEnsure that all required environmental data (including but not limited to weights information) is collated appropriately \nEnsure data received from customer contains necessary information \nMay involve some telephone/email support to suppliers \nData Cleansing And Maintenance\nBecome an expert in utilising in-house software system (EPIC) which inputs and analyses weights information \nManipulate data into relevant format for each country/regulation \nUse various tools to consistently check and improve on the accuracy of data \nUse data skills to provide useful information for accounts such as swings analysis and trends \nMaintain a strong knowledge of the international environmental regulations across a variety of countries\nWork alongside the Customer Representatives ts to understand and maintain a strong knowledge of data requirements and scoping in relevant countries \nDevelop and maintain a good knowledge of activities and obligations for relevant accounts \nPerform data checks for all accounts, to ensure all submissions are as accurate as possible and consistently improved \nContribute to consistently improving and innovating the International Data Service\nProactively seek out opportunities to make efficiencies and further develop the service \nInspect and advance current procedures \nOptimise data automation practices \n\nWhat we need from you\n Skills\nAdvanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (VBA or other coding knowledge desirable) \nAbility to quickly take on large quantities of technical information \nExcellent planning, scheduling and organization skills \nA customer focused approach \nCollaborative working style \nSolution orientated problem solving ability \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal \nA knowledge of analysing and manipulating large volumes of data is desirable \nAn interest in environmental issues is desirable \n Qualifications\nEducated to Degree level \nWhat we offer\nDual Location / Hybrid worker Status \nParticipation in our annual Incentive Plan (VIP) - up to 10% bonus \n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, volunteering day and your birthday off!
