Role Overview :
As an Engineering Manager based in Bangalore, you will serve as a pivotal leader responsible for steering high-impact technical initiatives and fostering a culture of engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and oversee the development of complex, distributed systems to ensure long-term scalability and performance for our global user base.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and high-quality code delivery to meet aggressive product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into actionable technical roadmaps and architectural designs.
- Implement rigorous engineering standards and best practices to minimize technical debt and maximize the reliability of our production environments.
- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of features that align with strategic business outcomes and customer needs.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale system architectures, with a deep understanding of microservices, cloud-native technologies, and data consistency models.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse engineering teams, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics and resolve technical conflicts.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- A track record of driving technical strategy in a fast-paced environment, showing high adaptability to hybrid work models and evolving business priorities.
- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, complemented by 13 - 20 years of progressive experience in software engineering and management roles.
