Computer Science with an embedded focus\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience developing embedded firmware in a product development or R&D environment\nStrong C, and C++ for embedded systems\nMicrocontroller experience (for example ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP, Nordic or Microchip)\nExperience with an RTOS (for example FreeRTOS or Zephyr) or bare-metal real-time design\nPeripheral interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, ADC and GPIO\nCommunication protocols (for example BLE, LoRa, Thread, Modbus or RS-485)\nAbility to read schematics and debug hardware with an oscilloscope, logic analyser and JTAG/SWD debugger\nGit version control, and structured testing and documentation practice\nAble to work independently and in a small engineering team\nWillingness to meet security and vetting requirements for defence-related projects\n AdvantageousIoT product development, including low-power design and over-the-air firmware updates\nAerospace, defence or other safety-critical development experience (for example DO-178C or MISRA C)\nExperience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system\nEmbedded Linux, or FPGA / digital hardware design\nManufacturing test,
