This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with Australian accounting experience who is confident in Xero, Australian tax and GST, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and ready to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.\nResponsibilities\nMaintaining, evaluating, and compiling records of financial transactions of the client in computerized accounting systems\n\nKeeping financial records, maintaining and balancing accounts using a computerized accounting system\n\nEnsuring complete working papers are maintained\n\nPreparing timesheet in order to raise invoices to clients for jobs to be finalized and delivered\n\nEnsuring timeliness & quality of delivery of job orders to clients\n\nSupporting senior accountants and management with any accounting, tax compliance, and bookkeeping tasks assigned to them\n\nAttend weekly workflow meetings\n\nQualifications\nMust-Have:\nBasic understanding of Australian tax and GST (mandatory)\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in Australian accounting, tax, and audit\n\nWell-rounded understanding of accounting concepts such as accounts receivable & payable, payroll, reconciling & financial reporting\n\nGreat communication skills in English\n\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills\n\nProficiency in cloud accounting systems (Xero)\n\nHonest, reliable, and proactive\n\nExperience in audit and assurance as well as proficiency in Caseware\n\nCan work independently and collaboratively in a team\n\nNice-to-Have:\nDegree in Accounting and/or CA or CPA qualified\n\nProficiency in cloud accounting systems (MYOB and QuickBooks)\n\nWhy RecruitGo?\nRecruitGo seamlessly links world-class business partners with top-tier global talent in emerging markets.
