We are committed to providing seamless and efficient solutions to our clients and fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment for our team.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Operations and DevOps Platform Lead to take technical ownership of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms.\nThis is a senior, hands-on position requiring deep expertise across virtualisation, backup and recovery, server operating systems, automation, and enterprise storage.\nThe successful candidate will lead complex technical work, improve platform reliability, and drive automation across the infrastructure environment.\nResponsibilities\nLead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms.\n\nAdminister and optimise VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation environments.\n\nManage Veeam backup, replication, recovery, and disaster-recovery services.\n\nSupport and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.\n\nManage enterprise storage platforms, including availability, performance,capacity, and data protection.\n\nDevelop automation to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and strengthen operational reliability.\n\nEstablish and improve DevOps practices across infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, and support.\n\nLead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents and recurring problems.\n\nTake end-to-end ownership of critical technical issues, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and service providers where required.\n\nPlan and deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle-management activities, and platform improvements.\n\nDefine technical standards, operational procedures, and infrastructure documentation.\n\nIdentify performance, resilience, security, and capacity risks and implement appropriate improvements.\n\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support to infrastructure and operations team members.\n\nContribute to business-continuity and disaster-recovery planning, testing, and remediation.\n\nSupport structured change, incident, problem, and capacity-management processes.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience\nCandidates must demonstrate strong, hands-on expertise in:\nVeeam Backup & Replication\n\nVMware virtualisation technologies\n\nMicrosoft Hyper-V\n\nWindows Server administration\n\nLinux operating systems\n\nEnterprise storage systems\n\nInfrastructure automation and scripting\n\nCloud and on-premises infrastructure operations\n\nBackup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery\n\nInfrastructure monitoring, performance management, and capacity planning\n\nExperience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, or comparable automation technologies would be highly valuable.\nDesirable Experience\nKnowledge or practical experience in the following areas will be advantageous:\nMicrosoft Azure\n\nNerdio Manager\n\nAzure Virtual Desktop\n\nHybrid-cloud infrastructure\n\nInfrastructure as Code\n\nCI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment\n\nCloud cost optimisation and governance\n\nSecurity hardening and vulnerability remediation\n\nAbout You\nYou will be well suited to this position if you:\nHave extensive experience supporting complex, business-critical infrastructure environments.\n\nCombine strong technical depth with practical operational leadership.\n\nTake full ownership of difficult problems and work methodically through to resolution.\n\nHave a strong automation mindset and continually seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.\n\nCan balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term platform improvements.\n\nCommunicate clearly with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior management.\n\nRemain calm, accountable, and decisive during high-impact incidents.\n\nCan mentor colleagues and establish effective technical and operational standards.\n\nAre comfortable working full-time from the BGC office during US shifts.\n\nCertifications\nCurrent and relevant industry certifications will be considered during the selection process.
