The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nJob Summary:\nThe Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of building construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. The role will lead project planning and execution while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTake overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of building construction projects. \nDevelop and implement project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements. \nMonitor project progress against agreed time, cost, quality, and performance targets. \nManage project budgets, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers. \nCoordinate and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders. \nLead project teams and coordinate site activities to ensure efficient execution. \nIdentify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, delays, and potential cost overruns. \nResolve high-level technical, commercial, contractual, and operational issues. \nEnsure construction activities comply with approved designs, specifications, building regulations, contractual requirements, and quality standards. \nEnsure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsthroughout the project lifecycle. \n\nReview project reports, schedules, variations, progress claims, and other key project documentation. \nMonitor contractor and subcontractor performance and take corrective action where required. \nProvide regular project updates and performance reports to senior management and the client. \nDrive timely completion, commissioning, handover, and close-out of projects. \nRequirements:\n10-15 years of experience in project management within the building/construction industry. \nProven experience managing building construction projects from inception through completion. \nStrong knowledge of construction project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contracts, and site operations. \nExperience coordinating multiple stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. \nStrong understanding of construction quality, HSE, risk management, and regulatory compliance. \nStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. \nExperience working on projects in Nigeria or other African markets would be an advantage. \nA degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred. \nProfessional
